Ex BR Sulzer Type 2 otherwise known as BR class 24 No D5032 is held by signals at the entrance to Levisham. This journey was very atmospheric with steam heating in thecold dark weather. You can almost hear the gentle hiss of steam, the rhythmical splutter of the 6LDA and the odd whiff of boiler exhaust fumes !! Pure magic !!
